DOJ expands case against SPLC over alleged KKK payments

FOX BALTIMORE: “The Justice Department has expanded its criminal case against the Southern Poverty Law Center….”

‘Federal prosecutors allege the SPLC used shell companies and intermediaries to send more than $4 million in donor funds to KKK members over several years. According to the indictment, the money was used to host extremist rallies, expand Klan chapters, purchase robes and hoods, and buy materials for cross burnings.

The Justice Department claims the SPLC encouraged certain Klan members who wanted to leave the organization to remain active in exchange for payments and access as confidential informants.
